Google Earth

I have been experimenting with Google Earth, a function of Google Maps.  These views show my home site on Lake Esau — shots clearly taken before construction started and in warmer weather than we're enjoying at the moment.  The "A" pin marks the approximate location of my house.  I say "approximate" because when I put in the exact street address (both here and on my GPS unit) the resulting location is about a quarter-mile north of my lot.  Go figure.

Have you looked for your own home on Maps?  Just go to Google Maps, type in your address, and see what pops up.  For members of St. John's, Grand Haven, note the following photos, and in particular the inverted "Y" shaped building.  You can use Maps to explore the European city you'll visit on vacation, or search for a new restaurant in Chicago.  Try Street View too, if it's available.
