3 Down, 1 to Go

We're waiting for the Building Inspector to make his final rough inspection.  We've had approval on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.  When the BI adds his sticker, we can proceed to insulation.

We need one more!
The placement of the stovepipe for the wood burning stove may present a problem.  The stove has a door on the left side.  That's convenient for adding wood.  However, it means that the protective pad under the stove extends 16 inches to the left of the stove.  I think that will take the pad past the end of the masonry wall, and that in turn will create a tripping hazard.  If so, we'll have to figure out some way of correcting that hazard.

We need to get out the measuring tape and
see how far the stove pad goes past the wall.
The stove is placed according to the architectural plans, but those plans didn't take into account a side-opening stove.  Oh, well... things happen! •••
