New Supervisor

I'm told that Patrick Pokorski did not win the election.  His opponent apparently garnered 200 more votes than Patrick did.  The margin is small enough that there might be a recount, but it would be very difficult to scare up 201 votes in such a small township.

Patrick has provided excellent leadership over the past four years.  The winner, Brent Koel, has shown little interest in township activities, and began attending township board meetings only after he declared his interest in running for the supervisor's office.  Perhaps he will rise to the occasion. •••
