Smart Phone, Dumb Owner

This morning I stopped at Staples to look for an over-the-ear device for my cell phone.  I've never liked talking on the phone in the car, and one of these devices seemed prudent.  But all their tech people were busy with other customers.  To make a long story shorter, I ended up at the Verizon store, got my ear device, and a phone to go with it.

I am usually faithful to Apple in my tech choices, but in this case I went with a Mororola Razr.  It's billed as a smart phone, and may be considerably more intelligent than the person who will be using it.  My main motivation was to get a phone which I can use at home.  My 5-year-old basic phone drops calls like a drunken juggler. •••
