Day Trip

My friend Mark is visiting for a few days, along with his dog Amy.  This morning we will drive to Petoskey for a few hours in "the big city"; to shop for Petoskey stones, which Mark wants to take back as gift for his colleagues at Harvard; and to eat lunch in an air conditioned restaurant.  The heat here has been rather oppressive the past few days, but it pales in comparison with that other places in the Midwest and South have had to deal with. •••
