Time to Order

We got up to 64 this afternoon.  It was a wonderful day, sunny, breezy, springlike.  I spent an hour moving firewood from the main supply to the front porch, since we're bound to get more cold weather before long. Presque Isle can be quite chilly even in late May!  I'm sure the stove will be in operation for several more weeks.

However, with spring rolling down on me, it's time to start working up my daylily order.  I want to plant at least a third of the long bed behind the house (lakeside).  I'll order from Solaris Farms in Reedsville, Wisconsin.  Solaris specializes in hardy daylily plants which they find to be well suited to cold northern conditions.  You can check out their stock at:
