Starting Work

Kyle arrived last night, towing his Bobcat.  He was delayed by a flat tire at Big Rapids, but was supposed to get in about 8:00 p.m.  Today he was going to see about the building permit, and then start work at the job site around Noon.  I'm headed back there in a few minutes.  We should have some kind of ground-breaking ceremony, or at least a photo.

Last night I talked with my friend Joan — a member of the old Camp Chickagami Task Force, and an accomplished church organist — about arrangements for interment of her husband's ashes.  Wally passed away last year.  This is the first opportunity for the family to gather at Camp, where Joan and Wally spent their vacations for over 20 years.  Wally loved the Camp and area.  He will be buried in the Chapel of St. Andrew, the Camp's open air worship space, on Sunday the 22nd. •••
