I'll be sound asleep when 2012 washes ashore at Presque Isle. Tomorrow being the first Sunday of the month, I will be on duty at Grace, Long Rapids. The liturgy will be Christmas Lessons and Carols, with a very brief meditation by the preacher, followed by Holy Communion from the Reserved Sacrament. I don't expect a standing-room-only crowd on New Year's Day. And, to add spice to the holiday, we are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow... finally!
One year ago, on December 28, 2010, the drywall crew was hard at work, and by January 1st they were ready to apply the mud.
