It works!

We had a little rain last night.  From what I can see my "splash" construction on the back of the house works pretty well.  The roof runoff falls onto the stone and vanishes.  I did not lug around all that limestone for nothing!

Aside from last night, the weather here for the past week has been spectacular: sunny, warm (75-80 degrees), gentle breezes, and wonderfully starry night skies with the Milky Way meandering across the heavens.  Presque Isle in the fall is often delightful beyond description. •••
